About CAT5e XOver
CAT5e handles Gigabit Ethernet over the full 100m, which is all most home and office connections need. It is rated to 100MHz and is usually the most economical choice. These are crossover leads, wired to link two devices directly. Most modern equipment sorts this out automatically (Auto MDI-X), so a crossover lead is mainly needed for older kit.
