At 20m, our CAT5e XOver range runs to 3 leads in 3 colours. All have U/UTP construction. You can choose between 24 AWG and 26 AWG conductors.
Where a 20m CAT5e XOver lead fits
20m CAT5e XOver leads are for runs between rooms or to distant equipment. CAT5e XOver supports Gigabit Ethernet up to 100m in total, so a 20m lead leaves room for the patch leads at each end. Crossover wiring lets you connect two computers or two switches directly. Most current equipment detects this automatically, so a crossover lead is mainly needed with older devices.
