10m CAT5e Crossover Ethernet Cable
A 10m Cat5e crossover cable, wired with the transmit and receive pairs swapped at one end so two devices can talk directly: two computers without a switch, or one switch linked to another.
Most newer network ports detect the cable type automatically (auto MDI-X) and work with a normal patch lead, so a crossover is mainly needed for older equipment and kit that specifically asks for one. 10m is long enough to run between rooms or up to an upstairs office from the router. Allow a little extra for going around corners and furniture. Grey is the usual colour for general patching and blends into most cabinets.
