Choosing a KVM switch
A KVM (keyboard, video and mouse) switch connects several computers to a single set of controls, saving desk space in offices and rack space in server rooms. Choose a switch with enough ports for your computers, from our 2 port and 4 port models.
Match the video and keyboard connections to your computers: HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI or VGA for the monitor, and USB or PS/2 for the keyboard and mouse. USB KVM switches suit most modern PCs. You will also need KVM cables for each computer, and a KVM CAT5 extender places the keyboard, monitor and mouse away from the computers.
