At 5m, our CAT5e XOver range runs to 7 leads in 5 colours. All have U/UTP construction. You can choose between 24 AWG and 26 AWG conductors.
Where a 5m CAT5e XOver lead fits
With 5m to work with, a CAT5e XOver lead can link equipment on opposite sides of an office or living room at Gigabit speed - well inside the 100m that CAT5e XOver allows. These are crossover leads, wired to link two devices directly. Most modern equipment sorts this out automatically (Auto MDI-X), so a crossover lead is mainly needed for older kit.
