1m CAT5e Crossover Patch Cable, Yellow

A 1m Cat5e crossover cable, wired with the transmit and receive pairs swapped at one end so two devices can talk directly: two computers without a switch, or one switch linked to another.

Most newer network ports detect the cable type automatically (auto MDI-X) and work with a normal patch lead, so a crossover is mainly needed for older equipment and kit that specifically asks for one. At 1m it reaches across a desk or between nearby rack units without leaving slack hanging down. Yellow makes a particular group of connections, such as uplinks, easy to pick out.

The cable is ETL verified to ISO/IEC 11801 and TIA/EIA 568B.2, with a UL CM rating.
