Scart Leads and Video Cables

Video and scart connections

Scart is the large 21 pin connector found on older UK TVs, DVD players, video recorders and set-top boxes. Our scart cables connect two scart devices, while scart switches and splitters let you connect more equipment than your TV has sockets for.

Composite video uses a yellow phono plug for the picture, with red and white for stereo sound; see our 3x phono cables and scart to phono leads for connecting newer and older equipment. S-Video cables give a sharper picture than composite on equipment that supports it.
