About LC - ST connectors
These leads convert between two connector types, so equipment and patch panels with different connectors can be linked directly. LC connectors are compact and latch into place, which is why they are the standard on SFP transceivers and high density panels. ST is a round connector with a bayonet twist lock, found in older multimode installations and patch panels.
