About LC - MPO connectors
These leads convert between two connector types, so equipment and patch panels with different connectors can be linked directly. LC connectors are compact and latch into place, which is why they are the standard on SFP transceivers and high density panels. MPO connectors bring many fibres together in a single plug, for 40G and 100G optics and for trunk cables between cabinets.
