About SC - ST connectors
These leads convert between two connector types, so equipment and patch panels with different connectors can be linked directly. SC connectors are square and simply push in and pull out, and are widely used on patch panels and fibre broadband equipment. ST is a round connector with a bayonet twist lock, found in older multimode installations and patch panels.
