Where a 1m lead fits
At 1m, these leads suit the everyday jobs - a PC, printer or phone to its wall socket, a router to a nearby switch, or a run between neighbouring cabinets. Measure along the route the lead will actually take, not the straight line, and allow a little slack so the plugs are not under strain. A copper Ethernet link can be up to 100m in total, patch leads included.
