Where a 5m lead fits
With 5m to play with, you can reach equipment across a room without an extension. Route the lead around the edge of the room, clipped to skirting or inside trunking, so it is not a trip hazard and does not get crushed under chairs. Copper Ethernet supports links of up to 100m, counting every lead and cable along the way.
