At 8m the range runs to 11 cables in 10 colours - black, blue, green, grey, orange, pink, red, violet, white and yellow. All have 24 AWG conductors and U/UTP construction.
Where an 8m lead fits
At 8m, these leads bridge the gap when the router is in one corner and the equipment is in another. They are also useful for connecting a switch to a printer or access point some distance away in an open plan office. Whatever the length, a copper Ethernet link should not exceed 100m from end to end.
