Where a 10m lead fits
A 10m lead reaches across a room or along a desk row - a games console to a router in the next corner, or a device on the far side of an office. For a tidy result, run it along skirting, trunking or under a floor rather than across a walkway. Whatever the length, a copper Ethernet link should not exceed 100m from end to end.
