About SC - ST connectors
These leads convert between two connector types, so equipment and patch panels with different connectors can be linked directly. SC is a square push-pull connector that snaps into place, common on older switches, media converters, patch panels and broadband equipment. ST connectors push in and twist to lock, and are mostly found on older multimode networks.
