About LC - ST connectors
These leads convert between two connector types, so equipment and patch panels with different connectors can be linked directly. LC is a small push-pull connector with a latch, used on SFP modules and most modern switches and patch panels. ST connectors push in and twist to lock, and are mostly found on older multimode networks.
