About SC - ST connectors
With a different connector at each end, these leads link equipment that uses one type to a panel or device that uses another. SC is a square push-pull connector that snaps into place, common on older switches, media converters, patch panels and broadband equipment. ST connectors push in and twist to lock, and are mostly found on older multimode networks.
