About LC - MPO connectors
These leads convert between two connector types, so equipment and patch panels with different connectors can be linked directly. LC is a small push-pull connector with a latch, used on SFP modules and most modern switches and patch panels. MPO is a multi-fibre connector carrying 12 or more fibres in one plug, used for 40 and 100 Gigabit links and high density trunk cabling.
