About OM1 62.5-125 fibre
OM1 is 62.5/125 micron multimode fibre, the type used in many older installations. It carries Gigabit Ethernet up to about 275m, and 10 Gigabit only over very short runs of around 33m, so it is mainly used to repair or extend an existing OM1 network.
