1m OM1 Fibre Optic Cable ST-ST 62.5/125
A 1m duplex OM1 fibre patch lead with ST connectors at both ends. Duplex means two fibres, one to send and one to receive, so a single lead connects a pair of ports.
OM1 is 62.5/125 multimode fibre, found in many older installations. It carries Gigabit Ethernet up to about 275m and 10 Gigabit up to about 33m, so it is mostly used to extend or repair existing OM1 links.
ST plugs are round bayonet connectors with a twist lock, common on older multimode equipment and patch panels.
At 1m it is made for patching inside one cabinet, such as a fibre panel to the switch just below it. Avoid bending it tighter than 60mm, as sharp bends weaken the signal and can damage the fibre. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket suits offices, data centres and public buildings.
