1m cables in this range come in black, blue, brown, green, grey, orange, pink, red, violet, white and yellow: 11 in all. All have 26 AWG conductors and U/UTP construction.
Where a 1m lead fits
For a desk or a home office, 1m usually covers the distance from the device to the socket with a little to spare, so the lead can drop neatly behind furniture rather than being pulled tight across the gap. Whatever the length, a copper Ethernet link should not exceed 100m from end to end.
