3m CAT5e Shielded Patch Cables
3m cables in this range come in blue and grey: 2 in all. All have 26 AWG conductors and F/UTP construction. Green is not listed at 3m - the nearest green length is 50m.
Where a 3m lead fits
3m is a handy length for connecting equipment to a nearby wall socket or floor box, or linking a router to a switch on the same desk. Allow for the path around desk legs and cable trays, not just the distance between the two ports. A copper Ethernet link can be up to 100m in total, patch leads included.
