2m CAT5e Shielded Snagless Patch Cable Red 26 AWG
A 2m Cat5e foil shielded (F/UTP) patch lead with snagless RJ45 plugs at each end. Cat5e carries Gigabit Ethernet, which covers broadband, home and office networks, PCs, printers, games consoles and smart TVs.
Shielding keeps interference out where leads run near mains cables, motors or fluorescent lighting; it works best when the switch and patch panel are shielded too. Snagless boots protect the RJ45 latch from catching or snapping off when the lead is pulled through a busy cabinet. 26 AWG conductors keep the lead slimmer and more flexible.
With 2m of cable you can link a wall port to a desk, or a router to a games console or smart TV in the same unit. Red is easy to spot, which is why many installers keep it for key links that must not be unplugged by mistake.
