3m CAT5e Shielded Snagless Patch Cable Grey 26 AWG
A 3m Cat5e foil shielded (F/UTP) patch lead with snagless RJ45 plugs at each end. Cat5e carries Gigabit Ethernet, which covers broadband, home and office networks, PCs, printers, games consoles and smart TVs.
Shielding keeps interference out where leads run near mains cables, motors or fluorescent lighting; it works best when the switch and patch panel are shielded too. Snagless boots protect the RJ45 latch from catching or snapping off when the lead is pulled through a busy cabinet. 26 AWG conductors keep the lead slimmer and more flexible.
3m is a handy everyday length, long enough to reach from a wall socket or floor box to a PC, printer or TV. Grey suits general patching and looks neat in most racks and offices.
