40m CAT6A Ethernet Cables
There is just one 40m option in this range: grey. It has 24 AWG conductors, S/FTP construction and a low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) sheath. Black is not listed at 40m - the nearest black length is 30m.
Where a 40m lead fits
Long leads like these 40m ones are for links between rooms or to distant equipment, such as a temporary connection, an event or a device out of reach of a wall socket. For a permanent run, fixed installation cable and wall sockets are usually neater. Copper Ethernet supports links of up to 100m, counting every lead and cable along the way.
