5m CAT8 Network Cable CAT8.1 Black LSZH 40Gbps
A 5m Cat8.1 lead for 25 and 40 Gigabit Ethernet, rated to 2000MHz. Cat8 is designed for short, fast links of up to 30m between switches, servers and storage, and it works at every slower speed too.
Each pair is foil wrapped inside an overall screen (S/FTP), and the RJ45 plugs have 50 micron gold plated contacts. Snagless boots protect the latches, and the flush moulded ends fit neatly side by side in busy switch ports. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) sheath gives off little smoke and no halogen gas in a fire, which is why it is often asked for in offices, schools and public buildings.
5m reaches across most rooms, for example from a router by the window to a desk on the far side. Black is discreet behind TVs, AV units and dark desks.
