40m Cat6a Outdoor Ethernet Cable Black F/FTP PE
Cat6a is rated to 500MHz and carries 10 Gigabit Ethernet across the full 100m channel, so it suits servers, NAS storage, 10G switch ports and multi-gig Wi-Fi access points. Foil-screened pairs plus an overall foil screen (F/FTP) give strong protection against interference on exposed outdoor runs.
The polyethylene (PE) outer jacket is made for outdoor use, for example connecting an outbuilding, a CCTV camera or an outdoor access point. Moulded boots grip the RJ45 plugs firmly and relieve strain where the cable meets the connector.
At 40m, measure the route before ordering and allow a little extra for drip loops and fixing points. Mixing colours such as black with the rest of our range makes it simple to trace connections later.
