15m Network Cable CAT5e Red Snagless LSOH
A 15m Cat5e patch lead with snagless RJ45 plugs at each end and a low smoke LSOH sheath. Cat5e carries Gigabit Ethernet, which covers broadband, home and office networks, PCs, printers, games consoles and smart TVs.
Snagless boots protect the RJ45 latch from catching or snapping off when the lead is pulled through a busy cabinet. The LSOH (low smoke zero halogen) sheath gives off little smoke and no halogen gas in a fire, as often required in offices, schools and public buildings. 24 AWG full copper conductors give lower resistance, which helps on longer runs and with PoE.
A 15m lead can take a connection into the next room or along a corridor, to a home office, games room or loft. Measure the route around door frames and skirting before choosing. Red stands out, so it is often kept for important links such as a firewall, router or server uplink.
