0.5m CAT5e Shielded Snagless Patch Cable Green 26 AWG
A 0.5m Cat5e foil shielded (F/UTP) patch lead with snagless RJ45 plugs at each end. Cat5e carries Gigabit Ethernet, which covers broadband, home and office networks, PCs, printers, games consoles and smart TVs.
Shielding keeps interference out where leads run near mains cables, motors or fluorescent lighting; it works best when the switch and patch panel are shielded too. Snagless boots protect the RJ45 latch from catching or snapping off when the lead is pulled through a busy cabinet. 26 AWG conductors keep the lead slimmer and more flexible.
At 0.5m it reaches across a desk or between nearby rack units without leaving slack hanging down. Green helps separate one group of connections, such as a second network, from the rest of the cabinet.
