PatchSee patch leads with light tracing built into the cable, in Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a. Shine a PatchSee PatchLight into one end of a lead and the other end lights up, so you can trace a connection across a busy cabinet in seconds.
Tracing patch leads without unplugging
In a full patch panel it is hard to tell which switch port a lead goes to. PatchSee leads carry optical fibres along the cable, and light shone into the boot at one end shows at the other, so you can find both ends without unplugging anything or following the cable by hand.
BasicPATCH leads are Cat5e, ClassPATCH leads are Cat6, and DirectPATCH and ThinPATCH leads are Cat6a for 10 Gigabit Ethernet. ThinPATCH leads are a small diameter 3.8mm with 28 AWG conductors, for high density panels.
