Where a 0.25m lead fits
Short 0.25m leads keep a patch panel neat. With no spare cable hanging in loops, air moves freely through the cabinet and each connection can be followed by eye from end to end. Whatever the length, a copper Ethernet link should not exceed 100m from end to end.
