There is just one 40m option in this range: grey. It has 26 AWG conductors and U/UTP construction. We do not list blue at 40m; the nearest length in blue is 30m.
Where a 40m lead fits
A 40m lead covers runs between rooms, up a floor or out to a building on the same site, with plugs already fitted so it is ready to use straight away - ideal for temporary setups, events and quick fixes. Whatever the length, a copper Ethernet link should not exceed 100m from end to end.
