Where a 5m lead fits
A 5m lead reaches across a room or along a desk row - a games console to a router in the next corner, or a device on the far side of an office. For a tidy result, run it along skirting, trunking or under a floor rather than across a walkway. A copper Ethernet link can be up to 100m in total, patch leads included.
