7m Cat6a Slim Ethernet Cable Black U/FTP LSOH 30AWG Snagless
Cat6a is rated to 500MHz and carries 10 Gigabit Ethernet across the full 100m channel, so it suits servers, NAS storage, 10G switch ports and multi-gig Wi-Fi access points. Each pair has its own foil screen (U/FTP), which cuts crosstalk between pairs and outside interference while keeping the cable slim.
The LSOH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket gives off little smoke and no toxic halogen gas if it catches fire, which is why it is often specified for offices, schools, hospitals and other public buildings. Snagless boots cover the RJ45 latch so it will not catch on other cables or snap off when the lead is pulled through a busy patch panel. Slim 30 AWG construction makes this lead far thinner than a standard patch cable, so dense switches and patch panels stay tidy with better airflow. Slim leads are intended for patching rather than long cable runs.
At 7m it can cross a larger room or run between rooms, keeping devices wired for the most reliable connection. Choose black to colour code your network, for example by department, device type or VLAN.
