5m Blue CAT5e Shielded Patch Cable Full Copper

A 5m Cat5e foil shielded (F/UTP) patch lead with an RJ45 plug at each end. Cat5e carries Gigabit Ethernet, which covers broadband, home and office networks, PCs, printers, games consoles and smart TVs.

Shielding keeps interference out where leads run near mains cables, motors or fluorescent lighting; it works best when the switch and patch panel are shielded too. 26 AWG full copper conductors keep the lead slimmer and more flexible.

5m reaches across most rooms, for example from a router by the window to a desk on the far side. Blue is widely used for everyday user connections in cabinets.
