3m CAT8 Network Cable, 40Gbps S/FTP Ethernet Patch Lead
A 3m Cat8 patch lead for 25G and 40G Base-T, with 2000MHz (2GHz) bandwidth over links of up to 30m. It suits switch to server connections and high speed links between racks, and works at all slower speeds as well.
Each twisted pair has its own metal foil inside an overall screen (S/FTP, pairs in metal foil), giving strong protection against crosstalk and interference. The 24 AWG stranded copper conductors, 8.0mm cable and 50 micron gold plated RJ45 plugs support PoE++ (802.3bt), and every lead is Fluke DSX-8000 channel link tested.
Snagless boots and an LSOH (low smoke zero halogen) sheath complete the lead. With 3m of cable you can link a wall port to a desk, or a router to a games console or smart TV in the same unit. Aqua marks these out as high speed Cat8 leads at a glance.
