305m CAT6A Network Cable Violet U/FTP LSZH Solid 24AWG B2ca
CAT6A cable is rated to 500MHz and carries 10 Gigabit Ethernet over the full 100m channel, ready for faster switches and Wi-Fi access points. U/FTP construction has a foil screen around each pair, which reduces crosstalk between pairs and helps CAT6A reach 10 Gigabit at full length; use shielded connectors.
Solid 24 AWG copper conductors are made for permanent installation, run through walls, ceilings and trunking and punched down to patch panels, faceplates and keystone jacks. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket gives off little smoke and no halogen gas in a fire, and the cable is rated Euroclass B2ca under the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), one of the highest classes for fire performance, often specified for public buildings, escape routes and data centres.
The 305m reel covers several runs; keep each permanent link within 90m so that patch leads at each end bring the full channel to no more than 100m. The violet jacket makes this cable easy to pick out in a busy installation.
