20m Cat6a Ethernet Cable Blue S/FTP LSOH 26AWG Snagless
Cat6a is rated to 500MHz and carries 10 Gigabit Ethernet across the full 100m channel, so it suits servers, NAS storage, 10G switch ports and multi-gig Wi-Fi access points. Foil-screened pairs sit inside an overall braided screen (S/FTP), the highest level of shielding for crowded cabinets and electrically noisy areas.
The LSOH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket gives off little smoke and no toxic halogen gas if it catches fire, which is why it is often specified for offices, schools, hospitals and other public buildings. Snagless boots cover the RJ45 latch so it will not catch on other cables or snap off when the lead is pulled through a busy patch panel. 26 AWG conductors make the lead slimmer and easier to route than a standard 24 AWG patch cable.
Power over Ethernet: this lead supports PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ (IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at and 802.3bt), so one cable carries both data and power from a PoE switch or injector to devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones, video doorbells and PoE lighting. PoE++ delivers up to 60W (Type 3) or 90W (Type 4) from the switch, enough for PTZ cameras, multi-radio access points and thin clients.
At 20m it covers long runs between rooms or floors; keep the whole link, including any patch leads at each end, within 100m. Mixing colours such as blue with the rest of our range makes it simple to trace connections later.
