15m SSTP LSOH CAT6A Network Cable Black 10GBase-T
A 15m Cat6A lead for 10 Gigabit Ethernet, rated to 600MHz and backwards compatible with Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 equipment. Use it for 10G switches, servers and NAS storage, or anywhere you want room for faster equipment later.
Each pair is wrapped in foil inside an overall screen (S/FTP), which keeps out interference from power cables and other leads. Screening works best when the switch and patch panel are screened too. The LSOH (low smoke zero halogen) sheath gives off little smoke and no halogen gas in a fire, which is why it is often asked for in offices, schools and public buildings.
Snagless boots protect the RJ45 latch from catching or snapping off when the lead is pulled through a cabinet. The flush moulded ends are slim enough to sit side by side in busy switch ports. 15m is long enough to run between rooms or up to an upstairs office from the router. Allow a little extra for going around corners and furniture. The black sheath keeps it low key behind media units and dark furniture.
