0.5m LSZH Snagless CAT6 Patch Cable Red 24 AWG
A 0.5m Cat6 patch lead with snagless RJ45 plugs at each end and a low smoke LSZH sheath. Cat6 carries Gigabit Ethernet with plenty of headroom, and 10 Gigabit over shorter runs of up to 55m.
Snagless boots protect the RJ45 latch from catching or snapping off when the lead is pulled through a busy cabinet. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) sheath gives off little smoke and no halogen gas in a fire, as often required in offices, schools and public buildings. 24 AWG conductors give lower resistance, which helps on longer runs and with PoE.
At 0.5m it reaches across a desk or between nearby rack units without leaving slack hanging down. Red is easy to spot, which is why many installers keep it for key links that must not be unplugged by mistake.
