0.5m Cat6 Ethernet Cable Yellow F/UTP LSOH 26AWG Snagless
Cat6 is rated to 250MHz, giving Gigabit Ethernet plenty of headroom and supporting 10 Gigabit over shorter runs of up to 55m. An overall foil screen wraps the four pairs (F/UTP), helping to keep out interference from nearby mains cables, lighting and machinery.
The LSOH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket gives off little smoke and no toxic halogen gas if it catches fire, which is why it is often specified for offices, schools, hospitals and other public buildings. Snagless boots cover the RJ45 latch so it will not catch on other cables or snap off when the lead is pulled through a busy patch panel. 26 AWG conductors make the lead slimmer and easier to route than a standard 24 AWG patch cable.
At 0.5m it is a short patch lead, ideal for connecting a patch panel to a switch in the same cabinet without loops of spare cable. Choose yellow to colour code your network, for example by department, device type or VLAN.
