0.5m Cat5e Ethernet Cable White U/UTP PVC 26AWG
Cat5e is rated to 100MHz and supports Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T), which comfortably covers broadband routers, PCs, printers, VoIP phones and PoE devices. The four twisted pairs are unshielded (U/UTP), the usual choice for homes and offices where electrical interference is low.
The PVC jacket is flexible and hard-wearing, a practical choice behind desks, TVs and equipment at home or in the office. Moulded boots grip the RJ45 plugs firmly and relieve strain where the cable meets the connector. 26 AWG conductors make the lead slimmer and easier to route than a standard 24 AWG patch cable.
At 0.5m it is a short patch lead, ideal for connecting a patch panel to a switch in the same cabinet without loops of spare cable. Mixing colours such as white with the rest of our range makes it simple to trace connections later.
