Fitting out a comms cabinet
A wall cabinet keeps patch panels, switches and routers secure and tidy. Choose the height in U (one U is 44.5mm) with spare space for growth, and a depth that fits the deepest piece of equipment plus its cables.
Shelves hold equipment that is not rack mountable, blanking panels close off empty spaces to keep airflow front to back, and cable management panels between patch panels and switches keep patch leads neat and easy to trace. Cage nuts fix everything to the square holes in the rails.
