500m CAT6A Network Cable Orange S/FTP LSZH Stranded 26AWG
CAT6A cable is rated to 500MHz and carries 10 Gigabit Ethernet over the full 100m channel, the choice for new installations that need to support Wi-Fi 6/7 access points and 10G equipment. Foil-screened pairs inside an overall braid (S/FTP) give the highest protection against interference; terminate it with shielded connectors and panels.
Stranded conductors keep the cable flexible, so it is ideal for making your own patch leads with RJ45 plugs designed for stranded cable. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket gives off little smoke and no halogen gas in a fire, often required in offices, schools and public buildings.
The 500m length covers several runs; keep each permanent link within 90m so that patch leads at each end bring the full channel to no more than 100m. The orange jacket makes it easy to identify this cable in a busy installation.
