40m HDMI Cable Active High Speed with Ethernet 1.4
A 40m HDMI cable with a standard HDMI plug at each end, for connecting a TV, monitor or projector to a set top box, games console, Blu-ray player, PC or laptop.
It is a High Speed HDMI cable with Ethernet, which works with HDMI 1.4 equipment and supports 1080p and 4K, plus the HDMI Ethernet Channel, Audio Return Channel (ARC) for sending TV sound to a soundbar or amplifier and 3D.
The cable is actively boosted (up to 40m depending on model), so it holds the signal over a longer run than a standard lead. It must be fitted the right way round, with the labelled output end at the TV or projector. A USB lead is fitted for extra power, but it is not needed in normal use. The conductors are oxygen free copper (OFC). At 40m it covers long installs such as a ceiling projector at the back of a hall or a display across a large room.
