305m CAT6 Network Cable Grey F/UTP LSZH Solid 24AWG Dca
CAT6 cable is rated to 250MHz, carrying Gigabit Ethernet with extra headroom and 10 Gigabit over shorter runs of up to 55m. An overall foil screen (F/UTP) protects against interference from nearby mains cables and equipment; terminate it with shielded connectors and panels.
Solid copper conductors are made for permanent installation, run through walls, ceilings and trunking and punched down to patch panels, faceplates and keystone jacks. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket gives off little smoke and no halogen gas in a fire, often required in offices, schools and public buildings. It is rated Euroclass Dca for reaction to fire under the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), a class commonly specified for offices, schools and commercial buildings.
The 305m length covers several runs; keep each permanent link within 90m so that patch leads at each end bring the full channel to no more than 100m. The grey jacket makes it easy to identify this cable in a busy installation.
