25m AOC Active Optical HDMI Cable with Removable Head HDMI 2.1
25m AOC Active Optical HDMI Cable with Removable Head HDMI 2.1
A 25m active optical HDMI cable (AOC). Instead of copper, the picture and sound travel over fibre optic cores, with a small converter built into each plug, so the signal stays clean over long distances and is not affected by interference from mains cables or lighting.
It is an Ultra High Speed HDMI cable with 48Gbps bandwidth, for 4K at 120Hz and 8K at 60Hz from the latest consoles, PCs, TVs and AV receivers. It works with older HDMI equipment too.
The full size HDMI hoods detach to leave a much smaller Micro HDMI sized plug, so the cable can be pulled through conduit, walls and ceiling voids before the hoods are refitted. A protective case covers the plug while pulling. Like all optical HDMI cables it is directional: connect the end marked source to your player or PC and the end marked display to the screen. A USB power lead is included in case the screen end needs extra power. A 25m run suits meeting rooms, classrooms, halls and projector installs where the screen is well away from the source.
