1m OS2 MPO 12 Fibre Trunk Cable Yellow
OS2 is 9/125 single mode fibre for long-distance links, carrying 1, 10 and 100 Gigabit Ethernet over kilometres rather than hundreds of metres with the right transceivers, and it is used between buildings, in campus backbones and for carrier connections.
This MPO trunk cable carries 12 fibres between two MPO connectors in one compact cable, used to link pre-terminated cassettes and panels in data centres and for 40 and 100 Gigabit parallel optics. It is wired to Method B polarity, the common choice for parallel optic links; check that your cassettes and panels use the same method.
At 1m it suits patching between switches and panels in the same rack. Because trunks are made to length, measure the route between cabinets before ordering.
