1m OM5 LC LC Fibre Optic Network Cable 50/125 Lime Green

A 1m duplex OM5 fibre patch lead with LC connectors at both ends. Duplex means two fibres, one to send and one to receive, so a single lead connects a pair of ports.

OM5 is wideband 50/125 multimode fibre. It performs like OM4 at 850nm and is also designed for short wavelength division multiplexing, carrying several signals over one fibre pair for 40G and 100G links.

LC plugs are small push-and-latch connectors used on SFP and SFP+ transceivers, modern switches and high density patch panels.

A 1m lead keeps patching tidy inside a single rack, with no spare fibre to coil. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket suits offices, data centres and public buildings.
