15m OM4 LC LC Fibre Optic Network Cable 50/125
A 15m duplex OM4 fibre patch lead with LC connectors at both ends. Duplex means two fibres, one to send and one to receive, so a single lead connects a pair of ports.
OM4 is a higher grade of laser-optimised 50/125 multimode fibre, carrying 10 Gigabit up to about 400m and 40/100 Gigabit up to about 150m. It gives more headroom than OM3 for data centres and longer runs.
LC plugs are small push-and-latch connectors used on SFP and SFP+ transceivers, modern switches and high density patch panels.
A 15m lead covers longer runs, such as between rows in a data hall or up a riser to another floor. Plan the route and fix the cable so it is not pinched or kinked. Avoid bending it tighter than 60mm, as sharp bends weaken the signal and can damage the fibre. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket suits offices, data centres and public buildings.
